Compatibility & Layout
FX2 is a universal fixed housing designed around Escort’s current VX laser shifter heads. Typical front layouts use 3 pods with the transmitter centered; rear coverage typically uses 2 pods. Mix Fixed and Adjustable pods as needed to match bumper geometry and coverage goals.
Use FX2 anywhere you have good straight-line access to your mounting surface. For tight, recessed openings where you need an angled screw path, choose the FX1 forward-angled variant instead.
Leveling & Alignment
FX2 has no internal leveling system. Choose a level mounting surface within ±0.5°. For bumpers or grilles with compound angles, pair FX2 with AX1 Adjustable pods in the positions that need fine-tuning while keeping shifter heads square to the road.
