Adjustable Pod Series (AX)

Adjustable pods use a spherical core and jam-nut lock to give you precise control over shifter aim when bumper angles or body lines are not perfectly level.

  • Platform: Built around Escort’s current VX laser shifter heads.
  • Core: Spherical center core with jam-nut locking for micro-adjustment.
  • Alignment: Allows fine tuning to within about ±0.5° horizontally and vertically.
  • Use Case: Best for angled bumpers, curved fascias, or installs where the surface is not perfectly level.
  • Examples: AX1 Adjustable Pod for universal Escort VX installs.

Fixed Pod Series (FX)

Fixed FX pods are pre-leveled housings based around Escort VX shifter heads, designed for installs where the bumper angle is already correct and you want fewer setup steps.

Fixed Pod Series (FX)

FX1 – Angled Screw Channel

Designed around Escort VX shifter heads with an angled screw channel that points fasteners toward the front of the pod. This helps when you don’t have straight tool access inside bumper openings.

FX2 – Vertical Screw Channel

Universal VX-based fixed pod with a straight vertical screw channel for traditional mounting. Ideal when you have clean access behind the bumper or grille.

Shared Fixed-Series Traits

Pre-leveled geometry, pressure-fit retention (on applicable models), rear cable pass-through, and UV-stable ASA housings for an OEM-style matte finish.

IR-Pass Acrylic Covers

Select pod designs offer IR-pass acrylic covers that hide the shifter face while maintaining lidar performance at 905 nm.

  • Visual Stealth: Dark, glass-like face that helps the shifter disappear into the bumper or grille.
  • 905 nm Friendly: IR-pass acrylic is selected to transmit around 905 nm, the wavelength used by most automotive lidar sources.
  • Snap-In Detent Design: Covers seat into front detent rails and snap into place for serviceable installs.
  • Extra Protection: Adds a sacrificial layer against debris, grime, and UV exposure.
